The Solution for Spider Veins

This minimally invasive, cosmetic treatment is used to treat spider veins. During this procedure, a scarifying (or sclerosing) agent is injected directly into the spider vein, causing the walls of the vein to stick together, preventing blood from flowing through it, which gradually reduces its visibility over the course of a few weeks. This procedure can take up to 30 minutes depending on how many veins must be treated. You may need several sessions for complete results. In the infrequent case where endovenous ablation cannot be performed, ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy can be done, albeit with a lower success rate.
